Common Problems

Sound Familiar?

These are the four things Eugene homeowners and facility managers call us about most. Each one has a straightforward fix once the concrete is prepped properly.

Cracked, Dusty Concrete

Bare slabs shed fine dust constantly and cracks only widen once water gets in. We rout and repair the damage, then seal the surface so the dusting stops at the source.

Moisture in Basements and Garages

Vapor pushing up through a slab is what makes coatings blister and peel. We test moisture before quoting and specify a mitigating primer when the readings call for it.

Hot Tire Pickup and Oil Stains

Thin DIY kits soften under warm tires and lift off in strips. Professional polyaspartic and epoxy systems stay hard, and oil sits on the surface until you wipe it up.

No Idea Which System You Need

Epoxy, polyaspartic, polished, grind and seal. We explain what each one does in your space, then recommend the one that fits, not the most expensive one.

We start every project with proper diagnosis, then give you an honest recommendation in writing.

Why Us

Prep Is the Difference Between a Floor and a Failure

Almost every failed coating we're called out to replace has the same story behind it: the concrete was never properly opened. Diamond grinding surface prep and honest crack repair are included on every quote we write, because that is what decides whether a floor lasts fifteen years or fifteen months.

We're a licensed concrete coating contractor working across Eugene and the Willamette Valley, insured and bonded, using only premium low-VOC epoxy and polyaspartic products. Every installed floor comes with warranties included.

Diamond Grinding Surface Prep, Every Time

Every floor starts with planetary diamond grinding to a CSP 2-3 profile plus crack repair. Coatings almost never fail because of the resin. They fail because nobody opened the concrete first, and that is the step we will not shorten.

Fast 1-2 Day Residential Turnaround

Most Eugene garages are prepped, coated and finished across two days. You walk on the floor the same evening and park on it after roughly 48 hours, so the project does not take over your week.

Premium Low-VOC Epoxy Products

We use low-odor, low-VOC epoxy and polyaspartic exclusively. That matters when the garage shares a wall with the house, and it means you are back in the space sooner than with older-generation coatings.

Residential Through to Industrial

The same crew installs a two-car garage floor and a cementitious urethane system in a Springfield warehouse. That range means we spec against your actual use rather than selling one product to everyone.

Our Process

How a Floor Install Actually Runs

  1. 01

    Free In-Home Estimate

We measure, check the slab for cracks and moisture, talk through finishes and leave you with written pricing. No obligation and no pressure.

  2. 02

    Prep and Repair

Planetary diamond grinders with dust extraction open the concrete. Cracks, spalls and pits are routed and filled so the finish has something solid underneath.

  3. 03

    Coat, Polish or Seal

Your chosen system goes down: epoxy or polyaspartic build coats, a full diamond polish, or a grind and seal. We work in sections to keep a wet edge across the whole floor.

  4. 04

    Cure and Handover

Walk on it the same evening, park on it in about 48 hours. We hand over care instructions and your written warranty before we leave.

Most residential garages are complete in 1-2 days. Commercial and industrial schedules are planned around your operating hours.

Not sure which floor system you need?

Tell us how the space gets used and we will recommend the system that fits, not the most expensive one.

Why Not DIY?

Professional Coating vs. a Big-Box DIY Kit

Most of the "failed epoxy floor" calls we get started as a weekend DIY project. Here's what separates a coating that lasts from one that peels within a year.

Big-Box DIY Kit

  • No mechanical prep, just an acid etch or a quick clean
  • Thin, water-based resin that softens under hot tires
  • Often peels or bubbles within a season or two
  • No warranty if it fails

Eugene Epoxy Floors

  • Diamond-ground prep to a CSP 2-3 profile, plus crack repair
  • Professional-grade epoxy and polyaspartic that stay hard under hot tires
  • Built to last 15+ years on epoxy, 20+ years on polished concrete
  • Written warranty included on every floor

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an epoxy garage floor take to install?

Most residential garage coatings are fully installed in 1 to 2 days. Plan on roughly 48 hours of curing before parking a vehicle on the new floor.

Do you prep the concrete before coating?

Yes. Every project starts with mechanical surface prep, meaning diamond grinding to the right concrete surface profile plus crack repair. This is the single biggest factor in whether a coating lasts, so we never skip it.

Are your products safe and low-odor?

We use premium, low-odor, low-VOC epoxy and polyaspartic products, which keeps fumes down and lets you return to your space sooner than with traditional coatings.

How long do your floors last?

With proper maintenance, our epoxy systems are built to last 15+ years and polished concrete floors can last 20+ years.

Do you serve areas outside Eugene, like Springfield or Corvallis?

Yes. We're based at 1121 Bailey Hill Rd in Eugene and serve Lane County including Springfield, Coburg, Creswell and Junction City, plus Corvallis in Benton County and Albany and Lebanon in Linn County.

How do I get a quote?

Request an estimate through our online form or call 541-203-3668. We offer prompt, transparent quoting and free in-home consultations.

Will the coating handle hot tire pickup and oil?

Yes. Our professional polyaspartic and epoxy systems are engineered to resist hot tire pickup, oil and chemicals, a common failure point for cheap DIY kits.

Are epoxy countertops food-safe?

Once fully cured, our epoxy countertops are food-safe, non-toxic, non-porous, and heat and chemical resistant, making them well suited to kitchens and bars.
